Each of us has already heard from astrophysicists that galaxies seem to move away from each other at a speed greater and greater.
In reality, it is not galaxies, which move in space, but space itself which expands, stretches, expands, taking the galaxies with it.
Are we to understand that the universe swells within a space larger than itself? That it expands in another space? Or should we admit that the expansion of the universe is an expansion of a very special kind, a phenomenon which transcends all ordinary representations in time and space? Time and space are in many ways a paradoxical phenomenon. In what time and in what space do you feel good?
