Tolerance is an essential pillar of living together. It is based on respect for differences. It is the virtue that leads to accepting, what one would not spontaneously accept, because this goes against one’s own convictions.
What would be a society without tolerance? No doubt a society, where we would all be the same, where there would no longer be any particular cultures, beliefs, practices and opinions.
